Turret has a chance to win $10K at the District 7 Capital Funds Vote

District 7 Councillor Laura White is hosting a Capital Funds Vote event on Monday, May 5 from 6-8pm at the Halifax Central Library (Lindsay Children’s Room).

Anyone who lives in District 7 Halifax Downtown South and is able to make their own choice is entitled to vote: children, permanent residents, refugees, and international students are welcome! In person voting only.

If Turret wins, we’ll use the funds on start-up operating costs for the Turret Art Space. The Turret’s Art Space will be a landmark arts hub in the heart of downtown Halifax. The Turret is 100% volunteer run and relies exclusively on fundraising for operating costs!
